And finally, for now, hope your faith in me not 'jumping the shark' anytime soon continues to be justified. I like to think the TF classic characters are in 'safe' hands.

Re: (Double)Dealer. Actually, there's no DD in Blaster. But he does make a (cameo) appearance in the following Spotlight!!

Re: Ramjet. Not my Spotlight. That one's by Stuart Moore, he of the New Avengers/TF crossover, and Ramjet, I believe, spins out of that. As for commenting here, yes! Spread the word. Time permitting, I'll answer.

All of the "Spotlight" issues have been really interesting and I am really intrigued by what was said above here. To breathe new life into a character, and a popular one at that, is risky but so far Mr. Furman has not made a mistake. So I am eagerly awaiting this issue at my local comic book store as I have fallen in love with Transformers all over again!!!!

Great news! This story sounds intriguing... a killer on Autobot HQ? Hmm, maybe we'll see (Double)Dealer again...

I really liked the way you tried to "amalgamize" comic and cartoon Blaster in The Ages of Wrath, too bad we never got to see when Blaster took on the big Megs by himself.

sounds awesome. I really like the comic Blaster from the titan reprints i've read, but from the sounds of it this new Furman-IDW take sounds awesome and fresh. Again, something i'm loving about the new IDW-verse.

Hey, we can leave comments here, can't we? Gosh, I'm quick.

Anyway, it sounds good to me, as I've always dug both Blasters, and I'm curious to see what will happen here. Moreso, I'm hoping that the Autobot Cassettes will be involved at least a little (as per one of the covers), Steeljaw especially.

I don't think that these Spotlights should always have to be self-contained; it's a nice touch when and if they are, but since they seem to link back to the main series anyway, it seems like a good outlet to tackle certain things that arise within the main series quickly, without taking away time in the main series for that specific purpose.

What amazes me most is that Ramjet of all characters somehow wound up with his own Spotlight. I'm curious to see why that is. Heck, I thought you favored Dirge among the "Coneheads."
