So with Shane doing a Spotlight for his character Drift, any chance of you doing a Spotlight issue for your created character Grindcore, Simon? Probably not but would it be something you would like to do if you could?

Its annoying because we as readers know nothing about him yet I am sure you have his whole personality and history mapped out inside your head.

i LOVE these things so its appreciated that you took time out to answer these questions.

some nice tidbits to keep us on our toes. cant wait for max dinos (only next week ! ) and im getting more and more intrigued by the 13.

should be fun to see if when its finally released.

im very interested in the movie tie in. no offense but theyre usually dog awfull .i thought IDW did a good job with the first one. alex even capturing some key moments exactly the same as in the film but in general they usually come off as a poor relation with dodgy art and woefull writing.

be interesting to see how you tackle it

the best news is its obvious weve got YEARS of TF goodness to look forward to. i could only be happier if geoff would chuck a new page or two into the mix

Interesting stuff. Can’t wait for Max Dino. and definately can’t wait for the 13 series. (I realize Hasbro’s likely up to their ears in the movie stuff right now but I really hope there’s movement on that soon.)

I don’t know if it’s cool to immediately follow up a Q&A with another Q but I’ll give it a shot:

When talking about the 13 with Hasbro (and I understand things are still very in flux) have the OTTFC Fan Club comics come up?

The ongoing stories over the last few years in the club magazine have dealt alot with both Primus/Unicron and with Vector Prime, the Fallen and the other Original 13 TFs. In fact they’ve introduced their own member of the 13 line-up in the club combiner character and filled in at least a little bit of 13 backstory. Since those comics were written by Hasbro’s own Forest Lee, have they been something Hasbro has wanted to work into the 13 pitch to make the mini work together wit the fan club stories? Or is the 13 as you planning set to be more an IDW universe exclusive thing, apart from the larger TF multiverse established in the fan club material?

Thanks for all the good work. Can’t wait to read more soon.

Thanks for taking the time to do this Simon, always value your insight & perspective. Very excited for your upcoming projects – can’t wait for the rest of your plot lines to come to fruition.
Hopefully without sounding too sycophantic, your story over the last three years has been the best TF arc ever – it’s a pity Revelation didn’t play out in the space you’d hoped – would have loved to have seen Magnus vs Galvatron again. It’s a great shame as, even though you may well be able to pit them against each other, I suppose it’ll never play out in the same way it would have in Revelations/Expansion…
Do you think you could cheat somehow and bring the heavy hitters from the DU back!!!???
