In (UK) stores today, Thursday 3rd Jan, is the seventh issue of Titan’s Transformers comic/magazine, and the first to directly interface with the live action movie (in the UK-originated lead strip). Rather than dipping back into the past to explore what happened before the All Spark arrived on Earth, ‘Starscream’s Brigade’ picks up on events immediately after the movie’s climactic battle between Megatron’s Decepticons and Optimus Prime’s Autobots, and features a titanic struggle against foes the Autobots thought already defeated. Story is by me, art by Boo (making his TF debut). Plus, a FREE holographic TF notebook (and pen), competitions, heaps more comic strip and an in-depth profile on diminutive Decepticon Frenzy. Really, it’s just too good to miss! Click on the image below for a look at #7’s cover.

Boo? Boo Who? (Ha! I had to put that in.) Seriously though, I’ve never heard of this guy, he’s probably going to do a splendid job however. My unfamiliarity is likely due to me living in the U.S. Simon, I know you’ll knock em dead as usual and I trust Boo Who will not disappoint. Welcome Boo Who.

  2. Kris Carter says:

Nice to see the vending machine transformer get a look in!

  3. wildman says:

Boo Cook by any chance? or is there another Boo out there. Isnt me anyway, boo hoo! 😉

  4. Boo is a singular name. He could be Brazilian.

I’ve been a fan of Boo for some time now and he’s a sound bloke. If you check out his DeviantArt gallery, you’ll see why he deserves this break on the Formers of Trans.

  5. Jon S says:

A bit late in reading this issue, but I’m glad the fate of the vending machine transformer was finally answered! Also, a nice surprise of a zombie transformer poster from Geoff Senior in the middle!
