Out this Thursday, July 17th (in the UK only) is issue #14 of Titan’s turbo-charged Transformers comic/magazine. Not only does it kick off a second seismic year of TF-UK goodness, the original (alt. movie universe) storyline begun in the epic ‘Twilight’s Last Gleaming’ here kicks (full blown) into its own story cycle with part 1 of the 2-part ‘Aftermath.’ As you’d expect after the events in ‘Twilight’s Last Gleaming’ there’s fallout aplenty for the Autobots and the good people of Earth, recently reprieved from all-out Decepticon domination (for the time being!). In fact, it’s the good people of Earth who are causing the Autobots their biggest headaches right now. Hard pressed to see good (robot) from bad (robot), humankind is kicking back (with heavy armour) against the nearest available hard targets — Optimus Prime and the Autobots! And if you think Starscream isn’t going to do his level best to capitalize on all this bad feeling, you really haven’t grasped the whole Decepticon ‘rules of engagement’ thing. Plus, what exactly is up with planet Earth? The damage done by the All Spark is demonstrably more than skin deep and that’s going to mean big thumping headache number two and an eventual return to… oh, but that’d be telling! Other stuff in this packed issue includes Beast Wars: The Ascending, Megatron: Origin and the usual letters, competitions and a FREE robot blaster! What are you waiting for? Go bag a copy! Now!

Simon, will you be continuing in the alt. movie universe for the foreseeable future? It does seem to mean you are unrestrained from events in and around the movie itself.
Megatron Origin eh? Cool, never picked it up in single or TPB, won’t need to worry now 🙂 Does this mean that once Origin ends, the rest of the IDWverse will be printed or do you not know?
And of course Aftermath’s going to be great as well 😉
The extra page really makes a difference. Good cliffhanger, loads going on. I wonder if the Earth really will die screaming, as promised on the next issue page!

Dodsworth, the TF-UK comic is staying in our alternate movie universe at least up to #26, at which point it’ll be movie sequel time and maybe a change of tack. Who knows. Certainly, the alt. movie universe means we’re pretty much free to do anything… or go anywhere.
matthessey, I’m not really sure what the next featured strip will be after Megs Origin has run its course. But chances are it’ll be something from IDW!
I already buy the back up strips from this comic in their original form and although i am interested in the new strips i am going to wait for the saga of the allspark comics to read them.
Aftermath Part 1 is the best TF comic for the whole month. I certainly like getting to see the long-term effects of Decepticon conquests and invasions, that’s something the comics never did before as far as I know.
Like the Grimlock profile too; will we be getting more profiles for the Beast Wars cast and maybe some of the un-profiled Movie guys? I hope so!
