Should you just happen to be in and around the London area this coming Sunday (May 1st), or could contrive to be so, I’ll be appearing at The National Collector’s Marketplace armed with my remaining boxes of comics for sale (Iron Man, Spider-Man, X-Men, Doom Patrol, Firestorm, Daredevil, Avengers, Marvel Team-Up, Marvel Two-in-One, Thor — to mention but a very few). Plus, I’ll be bringing stuff written by me (including plenty of Transformers comics, of course) for sale/signature. The National Collector’s Marketplace can be found in the Royal National Hotel, Bedford Way. London WC1 (just off Russell Square and v. close to Russell Square tube), and it kicks off at 12 noon (admission free). If you can make it down, pop by my table and say hi! For more info, check out the NCM web pages here.
The story begun on this very blog, in a recent Q&A I did for IDW forum users, concerning the possible/potential revival of the original Transformers comic series (that ended back in 1991 with issue #80) has exploded onto the wider comics arena thanks to Newsarama, one of the biggest and best comics news sites on the web. With new interview excerpts from me, plus links to the online petition that is already past 1300 sign-ups and climbing all the time, the Newsarama feature can be viewed here.
Just to let everyone know that I’ll be one of the guests at Mark Millar’s Kapow Comicon this coming Saturday and Sunday (April 9th & 10th). My official signing slot is between 10-11AM on the Saturday, but I’ll be around and about all of Saturday and at least some of Sunday. Aiming (hopefully) to have a pile of Marvel Heroes (featuring my Hulk vs Death’s Head strip) to sign at the event, and probably other stuff too. The event is in London, at the Design Centre in Islington, 52 Upper St, London N1 (nearest tube Angel, but Highbury & Islington isn’t far either). For more info and ticket availability check out the Kapow website here. Hope to see you there!
Another batch of items up on ebay, including Transformers: The Ultimate Guide (updated edition, signed), TF Animated Movie poster mag, TF WW Dark Ages #1 (Dynamic Forces, numbered and certificated edition), plus the first Death’s Head appearance (TF-UK #113) and his latest in Marvel Heroes. Oh, and a whole slew of other classic comics, TF & otherwise. Check out my current listings here.
